About the training
In this course, you will learn the basics of analytics in Salesforce, from basic system settings such as the Data Manager to integrating your own interactive GeoJSON files. Learn all about correct data preparation and how to combine your data in easy-to-understand dashboards. With this training, you will strengthen data-based decision-making in your company, learn best practices and improve your data quality.
Learn the basics
Training day 1 revolves around the basics of preparing data and Dashboard creation in Analytics.
System Basics: Get to know the basic system functions, such as the setup and the Data Manager.
Dataflow/Recipe: Find out what you need to pay attention to when preparing data.
Dashboard Basics: General information on design and data aggregation in dashboards.
Specific knowledge about dashboards
Widget Types / Lens / Component: Get to know the different display options and components of a dashboard.
Configure Actions: In this unit, you will learn how to execute Salesforce actions directly from the dashboard.
Layouts / Mobile app: The optimal display on different devices is also covered.
Explore what is possible
Day 2 of our training is all about the possibilities offered by data analysis in Salesforce and offers time for a practical workshop in which you can consolidate your newly acquired knowledge.
Example dashboards: You will gain insights into the countless possibilities that are possible with analytics dashboards.
Data Layer: In this unit you will learn everything about data security and access rights.
Custom Maps (GeoJSON): Learn how to interactively integrate specific maps and graphics into Analytics.
Apply your knowledge
SAQL / Bindings: You will learn interesting facts about SAQL code and widget links.
Active workshop (tasks and presentation): Apply your knowledge in different use cases with the help and explanations of our trainers.
Q & A: At the end, you will have time to ask specific questions and get ideas for your day-to-day work.
