Salesforce and Google are intensifying their partnership – with exciting developments for companies. Agentforce, Gemini and Google Search are to grow closer together and the Google Cloud will also play an important role. But it's about much more than just new features. What can customers look forward to?

Strategic partnership: Salesforce and Google

It all started in 2017 with the integration of the Marketing Cloud and Google Analytics 4. Salesforce and Google have a partnership that is continuously being expanded and deepened – most recently in February 2025. Now in focus: Salesforce’s AI agents in particular Agentforce. Customers should no longer be tied to just one provider for high-performance AI solutions, but should have more choice. So what innovations can customers look forward to?

1. Agentforce and Google Gemini

Agentforce users should benefit from the powerful Gemini models in future. These will then support them in creating prompts and reasoning. Thanks to Gemini’s multimodal capabilities, the AI agents will be able to understand text, images, videos and audio – and even interpret emotions and moods.

With two million tokens, Gemini has a very large context window. Agentforce will therefore be able to incorporate significantly more information and make more informed decisions. Gemini also processes data faster and more efficiently. It answers even complex queries precisely and cost-effectively – a huge benefit for Agentforce.

2. Agentforce and Google Search

In the coming months, Agentforce will have access to Google Search for the first time. This means that the AI agents will also be able to use up-to-date and reliable information from the internet for their tasks and answers in future. This will significantly improve the agents’ understanding of context and make their answers even more precise.

3. Salesforce and Google Cloud

Salesforce wants to offer its customers the greatest possible flexibility. This is why products such as Agentforce will also be able to be operated in the Google Cloud in future. Until now, Salesforce has worked closely with AWS. With the expanded Google partnership, customers now have an attractive alternative.

4. Salesforce Service Cloud and Google Customer Engagement Suite

Salesforce and Google want to develop the Salesforce Service Cloud and the Google Customer Engagement Suite more closely together. This will give employees and AI agents better access to data across platforms, optimize processes and expand AI functions. This includes the aforementioned sentiment analysis and real-time language translations.

Google’s virtual agents will also be able to work seamlessly with Agentforce in the Service Cloud.

5. Slack and Google Workspace

In the future, Slack and Google Workspace will also be integrated. It would then be possible to search, edit and comment on Google Drive documents directly in Slack, for example, while users could forward Gmail messages to Slack.

This integration would then be a further measure that reduces the need to switch between individual tools and ensures a networked working environment.

What can companies expect from the partnership?

Salesforce and Google are moving closer together, once again underlining their strategic focus on AI solutions and cloud services.

The new and even deeper integrations are designed to make it easier for companies to securely and efficiently connect AI solutions such as Agentforce with business data.
