Formerly manual, now automatic: add custom fields to Custom Report Types
Manually adding new custom fields to Custom Report Types is time consuming. Keeping the reports up to date is even more time consuming. This is possible with the Winter '21 Release over! Manage deleted fields now also in Lightning Experience!
What was previously only possible in Salesforce Classic is now also possible in Lightning Experience. Deleted fields and the associated data can now also managed in Lightning Experience be deleted. If a user-defined field has been deleted, the data remains stored for the time being. Only after the final deletion or after a "retention period" of 15 days, the fields are no longer available. Trigger flows - without Process Builder!

Flows for deleted records - without Apex code!
With the Flow Builder, the new release allows you to configure a flow to be triggered before a record is deleted. For this you need no more apex code.
