Your tasks as Lohnbuchhalter:in / Payroll Specialist (m/f/x)

As a Payroll Specialist (m/f/x) you take care of the monthly payroll and ensure that all salary components are entered correctly into the system. You will take on administrative tasks relating to employees joining and leaving the company, process certificates and be available as an expert for questions relating to payroll tax and social security law. You will also be responsible for checking payroll postings and communicating with the authorities.

This will help us to make our payroll accounting even more efficient:

  • Be responsible for preparing and running the monthly payroll and entering all other salary components into the system

  • Carry out administrative and organizational activities in the context of payroll accounting and take care of the processing of entries and exits of our employees

  • Process certificates and applications and be the contact person for company benefits as well as wage tax and social security issues

  • Check all wage and salary postings, social security contributions and special features

  • Be a competent contact person for all wage tax and social security issues for our employees, the management team as well as for social security institutions and authorities

What you should bring with you:

  • Completed tax or commercial training and ideally also completed further training as a payroll accountant or payroll assistant

  • Several years of professional experience and knowledge of labor, tax and social security law and payroll accounting

  • Sound knowledge of MS Office programs and sufficient IT competence to quickly familiarize yourself with other software solutions

  • Strong analytical skills and a high affinity for numbers

  • Independent and solution-oriented way of working and a good eye for detail

  • Team spirit and experience in working with different departments

  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
