Your tasks as an Accountant (m/f/x)
As an accountant (m/f/x)you will be responsible for checking and posting current business transactions and ensuring that our master data and asset accounting are always up to date. You will be responsible for the account assignment and posting of accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as the monitoring of open items. You will also prepare advance VAT returns and support the preparation of outgoing invoices. Business evaluations and general administrative tasks are also part of your varied day-to-day work.
You will help to make our accounting even more efficient:
Responsible for checking and posting current business transactions
Maintenance of master data and asset accounting, including account assignment and posting of accounts receivable and accounts payable
Monitor open items
Prepare advance VAT returns and assist with the preparation of outgoing invoices
Contribute to business evaluations and take on general administrative tasks
Carry out intercompany reconciliations and post them
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and the associated reports
What you should bring with you:
Completed training as a tax clerk, successfully completed studies with a tax focus or a qualification as an accountant or tax specialist
Several years of professional experience as an accountant as well as comprehensive know-how in the application of HGB and tax law
Sound knowledge of corporations and additional experience in the preparation of consolidated financial statements
Knowledge of VAT, ideally supplemented by existing knowledge of trade and corporation tax
Independence, reliability and a sense of responsibility in the way you work
Strong analytical skills and a high affinity for numbers
Team spirit and experience in working with different departments
Very good written and spoken German and English skills
